Meet the Team

Chris Goodfellow,
Chris Goodfellow

Chris is one of the Region’s most experienced estate agents, having started work in the industry on leaving school in 1978. Working exclusively in the North East, Chris has established an enviable reputation and a detailed knowledge of the market. Becoming somewhat disillusioned with ‘corporate’ agency, Chris established Goodfellows in June 2015 with the aim of harmonising traditional values with the best of modern technology.

With a passion for Northumbrian and social history and an eclectic taste in music, Chris also enjoys walking, supporting NUFC and gardening.

Lynne Pearse,
Lynne Pearse

Lynne is recognised as one of the area’s best known estate agents, with her cool, calm approach, using her experience and negotiating skills to get the best for everyone. Lynne has always been in demand, working for estate agents within Ponteland throughout her career before joining the Goodfellows team in 2018 as Branch Manager.

Lynne has been a resident of Ponteland for 30 years where she raised her now adult children. Living with her partner Colin and Labrador Keira, Lynne enjoys walking the dog, eating out, cinema, theatre, city breaks and holidays in the sun as well as watching football and tennis.

Lynne was shortlisted for The Peoples Award 2024, one of only 60 estate agents in the UK.

Ninder Lally ,
Ninder Lally

Ninder has excellent knowledge of the local area and after gaining over 11 years estate agency experience within the North East, she joined the Goodfellows team in 2022 as Sales Negotiator at our Ponteland Branch, bringing her enthusiastic, professional and likable personality with her.

Ninder now lives in Darras Hall with husband Simran, daughter Siya and pet goldfish Nemo. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, city breaks, reading, long walks, shopping and spending time with her family.

Sylvia Goodfellow,
Sylvia Goodfellow

Sylvia has considerable business experience having run her own company for over 20 years. It was on selling that business that Sylvia joined Goodfellows to help with the expanding ‘family’ firm. Sylvia has a friendly, helpful manner, spending most of her time between the Heaton and West Denton branches.

Sylvia lives in Woolsington with husband Chris, daughter Amelia, dog Ziggy and 2 cats, Rumba and Buster. She enjoys gardening, walking, cycling and a good drama…

Jayne Holland,
Jayne Holland

Following a successful career whilst bring up daughters Maxine and Natasha, Jayne joined a corporate estate agency, gaining valuable experience selling property in Northumberland, Cumbria, Newcastle and Durham. Keen to return to a more service led approach to agency, Jayne joined Goodfellows in May 2021 and now manages Heaton and West Denton branches.

Jayne enjoys spending time with family. Jayne is an avid reader and enjoys cooking, walking, travelling and racket sports.

Jayne is a past winner of Women in Estate Agency and winner of The Peoples Award at The ESTAS 2024’

James Gambles,
James Gambles

James has worked within local estate agency since 2003, after a 5 year stint in Creative Design & Marketing and possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the local market, joining Goodfellows as Sales & Marketing Manager in 2017. Well known throughout the area for his friendly and approachable manner, James is always keen to provide helpful assistance and advice on selling or buying your ideal home.

Brought up in Ponteland, James likes to spend time with family and friends, whilst his interests include mountain biking, motor sport and photography.

Linda Williamson ,
Linda Williamson

Linda has over 20 years’ experience in estate agency, having worked as a sales negotiator and administrator and then as a Lettings Co-ordinator. Her experience and calm organised approach made her the ideal candidate to assume responsibility for our Property Management Department, joining Goodfellows in 2022.

Linda lives with husband David and enjoys holidays with her family, spending time with her granddaughter and eating out with friends.

Emily Fitzgerald ,
Emily Fitzgerald

Emily spent a number of years in Advertising and Event Management, before joining Goodfellows in 2022 where her love of organisation, administrative skills and desire to get things just right are perfect for her role as Personal Assistant to Chris, with added responsibility for company administration and accounts.

Emily lives with husband Andrew and cocker spaniel Maple and enjoys long walks with the dog, interior design, gardening and paddleboarding.

Lisa Sharp,
Lisa Sharp
Lisa has worked in the North East property market for around 20 years. After taking a 12 month break from the industry to pursue a different career path, she realised that property was in her blood and joined Goodfellows in 2024. Lisa is very sociable and is known for her friendly and approachable manner. Lisa will always endeavour to assist and advise, whether selling, buying, letting or renting your ideal home.

Brought up in Northumberland, Lisa likes to spend time socialising with friends and family and enjoys the outdoors. She has three grown up children, two grandchildren and a border terrier called George.

Richard Fitzgerald,
Richard Fitzgerald
Born and bred in Newcastle, Richard has lived on both sides of the river. He has over 25 years estate agency experience, in both sales and rentals, building an extensive knowledge of the market throughout the region. Richard is a well respected agent, with a proven track record of helping families navigate the process of buying and selling property.

Richard lives with his wife Lianne and daughters Hannah and Charlotte. He enjoys socialising, motor sport, football and photography and plays pool for a regional team.

Jill Woods,
Jill Woods
Jill spent many years as an administrator and a member of a project team before joining Goodfellows in 2023. With a positive, can-do attitude, her love of showing potential buyers and tenants around properties shines through in her pleasant personality.

In her spare time, Jill loves spending time with her family and her dog, Moose. Jill is also an avid fitness fan including weight training, combat and pilates.

Helen Sewell,
Helen Sewell
After a career break to raise her children and having decided it was the right time to follow her passion for all things property, Helen joined Goodfellows in April 2024. Helen brings energy and a fresh perspective to the team, always ready to go the extra mile for her clients and colleagues alike.

Helen lives with her husband Robbie, son Joey, daughter Emily and dog Tino. When not at work, you will find Helen on the edge of a football field, cheering her son on, walking the dog and socialising with friends and family.
